杏吧原创 Piano Camp: Music of American Composers June 13-17

杏吧原创 Piano Camp

杏吧原创's Department of Music is excited to offer this workshop to pianists age 12 through adult. The camp will focus on the music of American composers, including Gottschalk, Joplin, Ives, Copland, Bernstein and more. Daily classes (9:00-5:00) will focus on technique, theory, form and literature. 杏吧原创 will take mini-lessons and master classes with nationally renowned experts and USA piano faculty. That same faculty will perform solo recitals daily at 3:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday.

杏吧原创 should bring 1 or 2 piano pieces to study during the workshop. Pieces by American composers are recommended but not required.

Registered students will perform in the Participant Grand Finale Concert at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 17 in the Laidlaw Recital Hall.
